The Village of Wellington will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a large-scale community event on Friday, Jan. 2, inviting residents to come together for an evening of music, family activities, and hometown pride at the Wellington Amphitheater. The celebration runs from 5 to 10 p.m. and is free to the public.
The milestone event commemorates three decades since Wellington’s incorporation and reflects the village’s growth into one of Palm Beach County’s most vibrant and family-focused communities. Organizers say the anniversary celebration is designed to honor both the village’s history and the residents who have shaped its identity.
Guests will find a full slate of attractions throughout the amphitheater grounds, including carnival rides, games, a Ferris wheel, an ice-skating rink, and a variety of food and Lakeside Market vendors. The evening will culminate in a fireworks display over Wellington’s Town Center.
Live entertainment will anchor the schedule, beginning early with a performance by 56 Ace Band from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. Wellington’s mayor and council members will officially welcome attendees at 5:45 p.m., followed by two headline tribute acts. Never Stop Believin’, a Journey tribute band, performs from 6:10 to 7:45 p.m., and Turnstiles, a Billy Joel tribute group, will take the stage from 8:10 to 9:50 p.m.
Fireworks are set for 9:55 p.m., closing out the evening’s festivities.
The Village’s 30th anniversary celebration will take place at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard. For more information, call 561-753-2484 or click here.
