Annual Holiday Boat Parade lights up Lake Wellington

Wellington’s holiday calendar will once again include one of its most popular waterfront traditions when the Annual Holiday Boat Parade returns to Lake Wellington on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature an estimated 40 boats decorated with lights and holiday displays. Local residents and boating enthusiasts will light up the lake as they cruise past the shoreline.

The best public viewing area will be the Town Center Promenade, located directly behind the Wellington Community Center at 12150 Forest Hill Blvd. Spectators typically line the lakeside walkway, bringing chairs or blankets to watch the illuminated boats cross the water.
